We currently have four Filling Stations open in McDowell County. These Filling Stations serve and deliver over 600 meals every Saturday. The third Hope Chest is now open in Welch. We celebrated Christmas with events in four different locations this year. Many thanks to all that supported these events. Visit the newsletter link at top of page for more details.

If you want to see God, walk among the broken and
the beaten, the unattractive and forgotten - there you will see Him.

Poverty in the Appalachian Mountains of southern West Virginia is devastating. Due to lives of extreme hardship, many people suffer from low self-esteem and feel there is no hope for the future.
Daily there are children in this country going hungry, elderly people making a choice between buying food, paying utilities, or purchasing much needed medication.
A Major Focus of Hands of Hope Ministries is to provide inspiration and direction to those suffering hardships as well as individuals, groups, and churches looking to become more involved in the mission field. Here you can witness the hands and feet of God working in the hills and hollows of southern West Virginia.
